The Navigator Palette Another convenient way to zoom and move around the photo is to use the Navigator palette. The Navigator palette (Figure 1-28) is used to change the view of your artwork using a thumbnail display. The colored box in the Navigator palette is called the proxy view area or view box, which outlines the currently viewable area in the window. Dragging the proxy view area changes the portion of the picture that is displayed in the document window. When you click the palette menu button, Photoshop displays a menu with choices specific to that palette.
